why tiktok ban in usa
TikTok Ban in USA |
It was not immediately clear what authority Mr. Trump has to ban Tikok, how that ban would be implemented and what legal challenges it would face.
News agency Reuters reported Saturday that ByteDance had agreed to completely split Tickcock's US campaigns. Earlier, the Chinese company reportedly sought to hold a minority stake, with Microsoft reportedly negotiating to buy the app.
But sources were quoted as saying by Reuters that ByteDance would exit completely and Microsoft Corp would take over Ticktok in the US.
The move to ban Tiktok comes at a time of heightened tension between the Trump administration and the Chinese government over a range of issues, including trade disputes and a deal by Beijing with a coronovirus outbreak.

Reason
- Tikkok in India was banned after a border skirmish with China - it was mired in a geopolitical feud. And the same thing has happened here. Trump's sights are firmly established on China - and should be viewed through that lens.
- TikTok says it does not hold any data in China and will never provide it to China.
- But, in many ways, no matter what they say, the fact that they are owned by a Chinese company is a substantial crime.
- Either cannot be ignored or Trump's previous experience with Truelock.
- Last month users claimed that they did not intend to use their Tulsa rally after signing the ticket.
- And although there are Republican and conservative voices on Tickcock, the profile of users in the US is generally young and liberal / leftist.
- It is hard to believe that there is no factor here.
